Rakim Anim

FOUNDER / Performance Director

Rakim has diverse experience in training youth, collegiate, and professional athletes in a variety of settings. His experience began as a volunteer strength coach at Minnesota State Mankato where he completed his Bachelors in Exercise Science. He then went on to the University of Minnesota to pursue a Masters Degree in Applied Kinesiology. At his time at the U of M, Rakim worked with the strength and conditioning staff training the following gopher teams: volleyball, women’s basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, wrestling, baseball, softball, swimming, gymnastics, swimming/diving, and rowing.


Nicola Tade

Group Fitness Coordinator

Nicola got her start training in a corporate wellness setting, helping individuals who sit at a desk all day increase their fitness level. This is where she gained her passion for helping people become lifestyle athletes, to encourage people to train so they can live pain-free, and so they can enjoy doing the things they love. She also has a background in yoga, both as a primary means of staying fit, and as a restorative exercise as a complement to strength and conditioning programs. Nicola also has experience as a health coach, which means she is an awesome accountability partner an can help you create habits that will maximize your potential!


Kunle Ayinde


Kunle has an extensive background in human performance both as a collegiate athlete at the University of Minnesota where he served as captain of the football team in 2014 -2018. Kunle graduated with a kinesiology degree in 2018 from the U o fM and gained experience coaching high school football at Blaine and De La Salle. Kunle’s passion is helping athletes achieve their athletic goals and pursuing their dreams. With his experience as a former college athlete as well having different opportunities in the NFL and CFL it has taught him a lot about how to train and how to optimize performance. Kunle is excited to help athletes from all sports and individuals who wants to take control of their health and performance.

Linsay - personal trainer

Lindsay Spanton


Dr. Lindsay Spanton, originally from Apple Valley, MN, completed her undergraduate studies at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. She played collegiate softball for 4 years as a 1st baseman and catcher. After graduation, she moved to Orange County, California to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at Chapman University in Irvine, CA.


Beth Parlin

Performance COACH

Beth ran track in college while pursuing an Exercise Science degree. Her training style focuses largely on ensuring that an individual moves efficiently to be able to prevent injuries before adding load. Once that groundwork is done and the individual is comfortable with the movement, then the fun begins. Beth loves training every individual like an athlete and adding in functional movements that will challenge them and get the best results. She believes fitness is valuable to being able to stay mobile and active as we grow older and no longer compete in addition to optimize performance for sports.



Bobbi Patrick 

Performance COACH

Bobbi’s training experience has been with a variety of different types of clients. Whether they are looking for sports performance training or just starting to learn how to lift, I develop a plan with intent on their individual fitness goals. It’s always a rewarding feeling to see a client improve past the point they thought possible!



Sarah Bogart

Performance COACH

Sarah’s passion for fitness training started as a volleyball athlete. She played collegiate beach volleyball at Pepperdine University and played professionally in New Zealand after college. Sarah has always loved the training process and seeing how it translates to the game. She has been around volleyball and beach volleyball my whole life and have always loved the training atmosphere.



Daryl Brown

Performance COACH

Daryl likes to build confidence in individuals. He is not only a fitness coach but he is also motivational speaker. Daryl will find ways that will encourage you to push yourself beyond your limits. Also, often times he like to participate in workouts with my clients so that they can see the tempo and the technique he is expecting. This is another way he pushes individuals to succeed.


Kevin Hayden 

Performance COACH

With over 20 years of classroom and coaching experience, Kevin has worked with athletes at all levels, including youth, high school, and adult. He has coached athletes in multiple sports, including football, track & field, soccer, basketball, and baseball. He has his personal training certificate and has worked with adults 1-on-1  and small group settings. Kevin is motivated by watching his athletes be successful, both inside and outside of the gym. He believes there is nothing better than the happiness one gets from helping others achieve their goals and be successful.

Kevin Frias Daza

Kevin grew up passionate about sports and fitness. He has always enjoyed learning about different training movements and found his passion helping others become more fit through training no matter what their goals are. Kevin believes the bodies ability to adapt to a stimulus is the key to getting results when working with clients. 
Kevin joined the N1 Team to grow in knowledge and experience to so you can use practical application when working with people towards their personal fitness and performance goals. 




Bobbi Horner


Bobbi is a top-performing, licensed registered dietitian and certified personal trainer with a knack for guiding even the toughest clients to achieve nutritional, health, and fitness success. Bobbi has a never-ending thirst for the latest scientific knowledge. She draws on her deep clinical, food, and fitness background to deliver outstanding results. Bobbi believes in a compassionate approach when designing and implementing nutrition programs.
