Your body has an enormous capacity to reach the highest levels of performance and fitness. Understanding and practicing nutrition that fits your lifestyle, culture, food preferences, is an important part of your journey as an athlete and a human to reach the highest levels of performance and get lasting results.
Practicing sound nutrition can be complicated. There is so much information online and it can be an overwhelming process trying to figure out works. How do you know what’s credible and what isn’t? How do you know what works for your body and what doesn’t? Not to mention we live in a society that advertises diet mentality, shame, and judgment around what you should and shouldn’t be eating.
N1 Motions is committed to empowering you by helping you understand what proper nutrition and fueling actually looks like while developing a great relationship with food. Our team of Registered Dietitians and coaching staff are excited to support you on your journey by providing nutrition coaching for individuals and teams. We make good nutrition accessible, attainable, and sustainable to help you meet your health and performance goals.
Our nutrition team is highly experienced and works with athletes of all levels and along the general population. Our team is eager to learn about your experience with nutrition, challenges you have faced, while helping you deal with mental barriers of guilt and shame. Our mission is to dismantle the diet mentality and create a space of curiosity and exploration where mistakes in nutrition are learning experiences and that the way you eat does not measure your value as human or an athlete.
Through our nutrition coaching service, we want each client to feel educated on nutrition that actually works for them and feel empowered to sustain the practices and habits they learned from working with a licensed professional.
Whether you’re looking to learn more about how to optimize your nutrition to meet your goals, wondering what macronutrients are, wanting to know how to increase fiber in your diet, or need to figure out pre- and post-workout snacks, we’ve got you covered. Work with our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to learn more about all things food-related. Food is our body’s fuel, and we should all be fueling properly to increase our physical and mental strength.
We offer two nutrition based services, 1:1 coaching and team talks. During 1:1 sessions, our dietitian will help you tailor a plan that works best to fit your lifestyle and specific needs. Together we will work on mindful and intuitive eating techniques, learn more about balancing a plate, and navigating cravings/stress eating, and determine if supplements, calorie, and/or macronutrient goals are needed. In team/group sessions, our dietitian will education participants on macronutrient education, pre//post performance fueling, and meal/snack options at home or on the go.
The process of developing new habits can take time along with trial and error. Our registered dietitian will schedule frequent follow ups to ensure you are making strides in the right direction to ensure you are set up for success and get results.
